A Biographical View of Alyssa Held

          Alyssa J. Held is the managing attorney of the firm. She oversees all facets of the cases from the inception to its conclusion. She is admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and Washington D.C. State Bars. In addition, she is admitted to the Supreme Court of The United States, United States District Court of New Jersey, the District Court of the Eastern District of New York, and the District Court of the Southern District of New York.

          Ms. Held is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of Amermica. Alyssa Held is also a board member of the New York Law School Alumni Association.

Ms. Held earned her law degree from New York Law School, graduating cum laude. She was a member and then became a Notes and Comments Editor for the New York Law School Law Review. She also won the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law while attending New York Law School.


          She earned her undergraduate degree at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she graduated magna cum laude, with honors in political science. Ms. Held was president of the programming board of the school where she was responsible for the allocation of a large budget for various committees and for overseeing the activities of 200 members. While at Columbia, she was presented with numerous leadership awards as well as being honored as a senior marshal.
