As the firm’s managing attorney, Alyssa J. Held oversees all cases from start to finish. She is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Washington D.C., and is also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States District Court of New Jersey, and the District Courts of the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Ms. Held is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Additionally, she is a New York Law School Alumni Association board member.
She received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, where she graduated magna cum laude with honors in political science. Demonstrating her exemplary leadership, she served as president of the programming board and managed a large budget and 200 members. She was credited for her leadership and honored with numerous awards, including being honored as senior marshal.
Ms. Held went on to earn her law degree from New York Law School with cum laude honors and served as a member and then Notes and Comments Editor of the New York Law School Law Review. While there, she won the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law.
