A Biographical View of Jennifer Held

          Ms. Held received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami, with Dean's List recognition. She attended Touro Law School in New York, with Dean's List recognition. She served as Vice-President of the Woman's Bar Association of Touro, and received the distinguished Cali Award for Academic Excellence in the field of criminal procedure.


          Jennifer Held's legal experience includes an internship at The Miami Dade State Attorney's Office, The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, and an association with the expert criminal defense attorney, Neil B. Checkman, Esq. Ms. Held is a member of The American Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association, The New York State Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Brooklyn Bar Association and The Brooklyn Women's Bar Association.


          She is admitted to The New York State Bar, The United States District Court of the Eastern District of New York, The United States District Court of the Southern District of New York, The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, United States Court of Federal Claims, United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and Supreme Court of the United States of America.


          Jennifer Held is the head of the litigation department at the firm. She litigates all types of civil suits, including motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and fall accidents, municipal liability, labor law and real estate transactions.
